Reservations are to be made before departure. Reservations cannot be made based on specific makes. A comparable or larger car may be offered. Details of cars may vary per country. Reservations are to be made in advance and the confirmation depends on availability at time of reservation. Payment is due before departure, at the time of the rental. Unused rental days that have been reserved and paid for will not be refunded.

Cancellation

After confirmation of the booking with a reservation number you can cancel your reservation within 24 hours without any charges. Do you want to cancel your reservation after 24 hours the following conditions apply:

• Cancellation till 14 days before pickup date EUR 17.50.
• From 14 till 1 day before pick-up date EUR 30.00. Upon cancellation within 24 hours before pick-up date, cancellation charges are 100% of the rental charges.
• Partially used vouchers are non refundable.

Payment

Payment is due before departure with a creditcard or PayPal.

Rates

Unless otherwise stated, rates are inclusive of unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver, theft protection, airport fee, vehicle licence fee, VAT and limited liability insurance. For specific information, please contact our reservation department. We reserve the right to change the rates at any time without prior notice.

Age and additional drivers

Minimum age is 21 years. All drivers must be in the possession of a valid driver’s license of the country of origin. Costs for extra drivers vary by country and will be paid for locally. Costs for young drivers between 21 and 25 years old vary by country and will be paid for locally.

Picking up the car

Upon picking up the car, the renter should be carrying a return ticket, a valid driver’s license of the country of origin and a valid credit card in his own name, covering the rental price and costs for optional items. The following creditcards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

In case the main driver has no credit card in his name, a deposit will be applicable. The amount varies by country. In some countries a cash deposit is not accepted. Please inquire at the time of your booking.

Additional drivers

On most locations a surcharge can be applicable for extra drivers. All drivers must be in the possession of a valid driverís licence from the country of origin. Additional driver charges are to be paid locally at the time of pick up

One way rental

One way rentals are allowed for some locations but have to be confirmed at the time of booking. The surcharge can vary, is exclusive of tax and is to be paid locally.

Special requests

Child seats, ski racks and other extras are on request and can not be guaranteed. In most countries child seats are mandatory for younger children. Lejebil.com has child seats available that need to be requested at the time of the booking. They are subject of availability at the time of the rental. A deposit will be taken. Please inquire at the time of the booking.

Local charges

Charges and conditions for all extras that have to be paid locally can change without prior notice. A Customer Facility Charge of 8 USD will be charged at Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

International Driving Licence

An international driving licence is only necessary if you are traveling in Georgia or Florida USA or your driving licence isn’t translated in English. All additional drivers need an international driving licence when traveling in Georgia or Florida.

Car types and capacity

The mentioned capacity of the car is a guideline only and no rights can be derived from. The car type mentioned is an example only and is not necessarily available at the time of rental.

Finally

In case you are not satisfied with your car, the rental or the reservation, please send your complaints in writing within 6 weeks after returning the car.
